Specific course information

The objective of this course is that students correlate the physical components of roads with the operating characteristics of vehicles by use of knowledge of mathematics, physics and geometry. Students will be able to design a road in three projections: horizontal geometric design, vertical profile geometric design and lateral profile (cross section design), and to conceive roads as integrated systems for the benefit, satisfaction and safety of their users.
