Specific course information

  • The scope of this course is related to the use of natural resources and the effects resulting from domestic, industrial, agricultural, livestock, forestry and mining activities; and special attention is given to the solution of water, air and soil pollution. Ultimately, the objective of the course is that students integrate knowledge around the adequate environmental management in organizations within a perspective of social responsibility

Learning objectives:
  • To analyze the technologies mainly used for the treatment of contaminant solid, liquid and gaseous effluents.
  • To identify the current methodologies for the management of solid and liquid waste and for the handling of atmospheric pollutants.
  • To propose alternatives for the use of industrial and domestic solid and liquid waste
